Private Staff Events

Staff can submit Building Use Requests for private events with the following stipulations:

Considered only after ministry calendar is finalized
Facility use only (includes tables and chairs)
No staff provided (A/V, Events, Facilities, etc.)
No resources provided (A/V equipment, décor, catering supplies, etc.)

If approved, building rental fees are waived. If there will be more than 50 guests, there may be some staff required, for which there will be a fee. Due to labor laws, Cornerstone staff members may not “volunteer” to work in their designated roles. Contact the Director of HR with questions.

Expectations

Read the expectations set forth below, and then sign. Failure to comply with expectations may result in revocation of future building use privileges.

The requesting staff member is responsible to be the “host” of the event and must be present for the duration of the reservation time.
The Director of Events (Michelle Buckner) must approve any vendors (caterers, photographers, videographers, etc.).
Furniture may not be moved. Décor may not be altered.
No tape, thumbtacks, nails, etc. on the floors, walls, or ceilings.
The staff host is responsible for set up and tear down of tables and chairs.
The staff host is responsible for locking/unlocking exterior doors and designating someone to ensure only invited guests enter. Unlocked doors must not be left unmanned.
Alcohol, tobacco, or drug use (or any activities that violate our Articles of Faith) are not allowed on the campus.
The party must stay contained to the reserved room.
Trash must be taken to the dumpster.
The room must be left “Sunday Ready” with clean counters, floors, and furniture.
